Wonderful! ^_^ I have lots of mobile phones I've done, I never had time to upload all of them. :(
This is a really good render. Did you use MLT? Thats always the best render method for me. It takes forever but it does very good.

MLT it is! very few passes at this stage, something like 20 passes, the graininess somehow suits the steampunk style though.

anyway, early days with this piece, not finished the modelling yet!!

I'm a recently self employed building designer at the mo, trying to push the visualisation side of design at the moment hence flooding DA with models. No one has chosen to offer me paid work in this area yet, I have been 3d modeling for about 15 years though as a hobby. I'm hoping that shear bloodymindedness will yield some orders soon :D

the only career advice i would ever give anyone is do what you love and keep doing it until you're really good at it and then maybe just maybe someone will pay you to do what you love.
